About us
FeLV.net is a non-profit organization started in November of 2023 and based in Austin TX; the largest no-kill city in the US. We are dedicated to spreading awareness about the Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) through educational videos, a database of information, and collaborations with other non-profit organizations in the Austin area, like Austin Pets Alive*. Our mission is to raise awareness about feline diseases, focusing mostly on FeLV. Working together with Austin Pets Alive, and the Magellan International School, we are involved in many initiatives promoting respect and humane treatment of all felines with this horrible disease. We want to keep Austin TX a no-kill city for as long as we can while encouraging others to do the same. In the near future, we hope to achieve a noticeable difference in the cat community in Austin TX, by spreading awareness about this horrible disease. We want to help you take care of your feline companion, which is why we have an email system, in which we will respond to your questions.

My most prevalent personal interest is science, more particularly biology. I am very interested in virology for animals, so I decided to work on FeLV. Also, previously, I was a "tutor" to young children from PYP and taught them physics and biology concepts.

Hi, I'm Aaron, a feline enthusiast, video editor, and graphic designer at Magellan International School. I have always been interested in felines' well-being and how they relate to feline diseases. I started volunteering at Austin Pet Alive months before the project and wanted to investigate more about the cats I was helping take care of.
